Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup- Review

You may or may not of heard of Sheer Cover, depending on where you're from. I'm aware that its bigger in the US than in the UK, so if you've never heard of it. Here is a brief description:
Sheer Cover is natural mineral makeup which goes beyond covering your flaws, its makeup that's actually good for your skin! You can either buy the products separately or as a kit. I purchased mine a few years ago but I believe the products included in the kit have changed slightly and look different to what I'm about to show you, but the main products which I'm going to review; the mineral foundation and the concealers are still the same, just different packaging.

One of the things that persuaded me to buy the kit was that it has a 60 day money back guarantee system. Meaning that you can try Sheer Cover for 60 days, and if you're not satisfied (which wont happen) you can send it back and receive your money back, even if the products are empty! Yes, you read right!
So its kinda like you have nothing to lose.

Sheer Cover Studio Mineral Foundation- Contains 100% natural minerals, soothing botanicals and antioxidant green tea. You can select your shade to match your skin tone on the website- Light, Medium, Tan or Dark. Me being fair skinned, I chose light. And I don't think they do this anymore but they used to include 2 mineral foundations of slightly different shades so you can mix to create your perfect shade, now it just includes 1. What makes Sheer Cover different to other makeup? It literally feels like you have absolutely nothing on your skin! Its so weightless, perfect for 'no makeup makeup'. It contains SPF 15 and doesn't clog pores at all, the minerals protect and care for your skin. It also has light reflecting properties so that it sits lightly and evenly on the skin, blurring imperfections such as large pores, acne, scars, veins, brown spots, redness, birthmarks etc whilst still looking like skin! As its so pigmented, you only need a little bit, meaning this stuff is gunna last a heck of a long time. I've had mine for years and I've still got loads left, however that could be down to me not using it everyday. They also send the powder brush and the concealer brush which are made from natural fibers.

As well as being:
>Sweat proof
>Sensitive skin tested, allergy tested, dermatologist tested
>Lasts all day
>Has no binders, no talc, no mineral oil, no dyes or silicones
>No preservatives, no chemicals, no fillers

The amazing Duo Concealer-  As you can see, this is quite well loved. I heart this stuff! It gives heavy coverage, but by somehow being so light and non cakey. Also its extremely easy to blend. The fact that its good for your skin just makes putting it on blemishes a lot more enjoyable, and gives me a peace of mind. Its duo toned, again like the mineral foundation, so you can create your perfect match. I believe that the up to date version of this includes a highlighter as well which is a nice bonus! The concealer brush that comes with it is perfect for getting in those hard to reach areas and it makes the product glide on even easier. Its very pigmented so a little goes a long way! By the way I don't use Sheer Cover everyday, only really for special occasions or the occasional hot summers day when I don't want to wear thick makeup. And also as I don't want to waste it because its more expensive than high street makeup.

Sadly the following things aren't included in the kit anymore as they have been replaced by new products, which you will see if you want to order Sheer Cover on their website here. But you can purchase products like the Base Perfecting Primer and much more separately still if you wish.

Anyways, I'll just show you what else I have from the kit.
The primer-

The eyeshadows/blush/lipgloss palette- (excuse the mess)

The coral blush in the top left is one of my favorite blushes ever! Its just a really nice natural shade blusher. The eye shadows are well pigmented and are great everyday colours. The lip glosses however are not really to my taste, Its just a personal thing as I don't really like shimmery lip glosses and I don't feel like the colours suit me. This palette comes with an eye shadow sponge applicator and a lip brush as well.

The kit also came with a mini black mascara which ran out very quickly as it was so good I used it everyday when I first got the kit, thankfully they still include it today. I highly recommend it as its very natural and conditioning and doesn't feel heavy on the lashes, yet it gives amazing length and volume without being clumpy! It feels like a high end mascara.

The cost of the Introductory VIP Kit is £29.99 plus shipping and you can order it so that you get a new one every month, or just the once. I think that's a good price for the quality of this makeup, considering it lasts a long long time as well. Even though the kit has been updated, the main products such as the mineral foundation and the concealers are amazing and still have the same mineral content as the old versions which I have shown you in this post. Sheer Cover is perfect for special occasions such as weddings, but is also perfect if you're a person who has problem skin, but doesn't want it to be obvious that you're wearing makeup.

If you want to try this makeup, but are having doubts. My advice would be to just try it as I guarantee you'll love it. Even if you don't love it you can send it straight back, even if you've used all of the products up! It's a win-win situation!

Thank you for reading this very long post! Please feel free to follow/comment/share :)
