TAGGED- How much is your face worth?

Firstly I'd like to thank the lovely Louise for tagging me, go take a peek at her blog!

The tag 'How much is your face worth?' is basically the cost of the makeup products you put on your face everyday. What I'm about to show you in this blog is just my day to day makeup, I dread to think how much ALL of my makeup put together will add up to.

Starting with a blank canvas-
For my face I use the Garnier BB Cream in the lightest shade. This is because Its nice and light weight for every day use and its healthier for your skin than a thick layer of foundation. This costs £6.66.

Then its onto concealer!
Even if I don't wear foundation/bb cream I can never leave the house without a bit of concealer!

Under my eyes I like to use the Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer, which was £5.49.

And on any redness or blemishes I use the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer, costing £4.19.

Powder- I then set all of my hard work in place with my (broken) Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. This has been in this state for quite a while now and I still to this day don't know what caused this almighty tragedy. It still does the job though thankfully! This is priced at £3.99.

Now onto blush- I only purchased this the other day but I'm loving it already, I was attracted to the autumn berry colour! Priced at £4.59.

(The best part)- Eyes

Now, depending on what mood I'm in will determine what colour I go for out of my palette, usually its a in the neutral section. I bought this on Amazon for £5.99 and it also comes with some applicators and a mirror which is handy! I'm still not sure if the colours at the bottom are blushers or not... I've been using them as blushers and they aren't that great but I wasn't expecting them to be. If anyone knows whether these are eye shadows as well or not please tell me in the comments! :/ haha.

Eyeliner- Daily I normally wear a slick of liquid eyeliner, and again, depending on my mood I'll either go for a cat eye flick or just a thin line along the lash line. This is the Barry M black marker pen, I love the experience of drawing onto my eye as if its a real marker.. I don't know why. This was £4.59, the same as the blusher funnily enough!

Mascara- This is reaching the end of it's days sadly, but this is the Rimmel Scandal eyes flex mascara. Costing £6.99.

Brows- I normally use a brown colour from my eye shadow palette for my eyebrows but I do like to use a pencil now and again, this is the Barry M kohl pencil (wow I just realized I have a lot of Barry M products!) This was about £2.99.

I then softly blend the harshness out with my GOSH spooly, costing at around £4.

Following with sealing the hairs in place with my Miss Sporty Just Clear mascara, which was £2.99. - I've always loved how cheap Miss Sporty is.

Lips- From my wide range of tinted lip balms, I present to you.. the Maybelline Baby Lips- in the colour 'Cherry me'!
This is just the one that I use the most I'd say. Again, love how affordable this was at just £2.99.

This is where I have to use my amazing maths skills... plus a little help from Mr calculator.

Ok, If I have added this correctly, the cost of my face comes to... drum roll please... £58.45!

I honestly don't know whether to be pleased or shocked, but it is what it is. Hope you enjoyed this post!

The nicest cleanser I've used in a while!

Neutrogena visibly clear exfoliating wash

After months of using this product, I've finally decided to do a review on it..
This exfoliater is really gentle on the skin - being someone with sensitive skin this is a great quality to have!
It has tiny little beads within the face wash which exfoliate, clean and get deep into the pores to remove excess oil and blackheads/spots. I love how after I use it my skin just feels so clean and soft, which I haven't always got from previous cleansers.
I advise using an oil free moisturizer after using this to lock in some extra moisture.
This is a great product considering how cheap it is, it does the job and I love it! My spots have gotten better since using this, but sadly my oiliness still remains, I honestly don't think there's anything out there to help my oiliness but when I find something, I'll tell you!

Thanks for reading, comment your favourite face cleanser at the moment why don't you! I'd love to hear from you :)

Get ready with me - School!

My School Routine

Rise and shine! Its Friday and I wanted to share with you guys what I get up to in the morning before school. This is basically my every day routine, so hope you enjoy!

Usually I wake up at about 6:10 am (early for a teenager, I know) but I just don't like rushing in the mornings and I like to spend a bit more time getting ready and preparing for the day ahead!

Like my bed cover? Aha

After about 30 minutes on my iPod, checking the internet and such, I manage to climb out of bed, pop on my slippers, and stumble into the bathroom.

Where I rinse my mouth with some mouthwash, just to freshen up my mouth a little bit to make it feel a bit cleaner until I actually clean my teeth.

I then wash my face with the Neutrogena shine control face wash, which ironically doesn't really control my shine at all but I still use it to clean my face.

Then I make my way back into my bedroom where I firstly, open the blinds to let in some natural light.

Following by going over to my desk and putting on my moisturizer- which is also by Neutrogena.

And then I apply my makeup, normally I go for quite a plain, natural look for school.
( p.s this isn't all of my makeup, I have A LOT more, haha)

I do things in such a weird order but after this I put on my deodorant, at the moment I'm into roll-ons as I hate being suffocated by spray-on deodorant, and also wanted a change.

Moving onto hair, I then brush my hair with the amazing Tangle Teezer, and then straighten it with my ghds which I've had for aaages. Also I don't always use hair spray, and I always forget to use heat protector (mine isnt that good anyway so I'm not missing out on much) but I told you I was weird.

Afterwards I go downstairs and arrange all my books/supplies together and load them into my school bag.

Then I eat my breakfast, lately I've just been having cereal such as Rice Krispies and I either have a green tea or regular, black tea with it.

I then run back upstairs, go brush my teeth and just chill on my iPod/phone till I have to leave to walk to school.

Thank you for reading! As always, please Follow/Comment etc it'd make me very happy :) Bye!

What do I like in a boy?

10 things I look for in a boy...

1) No matter what you look like, If you're funny and can make me laugh I will instantly fall in love with you.

2) I'm attracted to guys who have some sort of talent, whether its singing, dancing, cooking, etc.

3) Honesty. Seriously there's nothing more stressful than playing games and wishing the guy you like would just be straight up with you about how he feels.

4) Guys who can keep up a conversation. I just hate it when you want to get to know someone and have an interesting chat with them, but they cant even hold a decent conversation, it just winds me up.

5) Intelligence, or just common sense.- (You'd be surprised how hard it is to find that these days).

6) If you smell nice, again like the above.. I might just fall in love with you. No matter how you look, if you smell nice, you are guaranteed to be more attractive to any girl.

7) I like someone who's down to earth and humble, I hate when people are stuck up in general so let alone a guy.

8) Nice smile. This one doesn't really need to be explained.

9) I'm not looking for someone who wants to talk to me 24/7 but if I'm your girl, I would like a bit of attention now and again. When a guy replies quickly to texts or wants to spend time with me my heart literally sings. Some guys just don't make enough effort. I'm not saying that the guy should do all the work, its just whats the point in putting in 80% of your effort if you're only getting 20% back?

10) Confidence not cockiness. When someone is genuinely happy in themselves it just radiates onto everyone around them, and I like to surround myself with positive people. You don't have to be the most confident person ever, its just nice to be with someone who isn't constantly putting themselves down and being negative.

Thats it for today! Thanks for reading :) geeeboo xox

Tagged - The Sunshine Award!

The Sunshine Award

Hey guys! The other day I was nominated for the Sunshine Award by the lovely Louise who's blog is http://kinderhealthandbeauty.blogspot.co.uk/ go check it out!
In case you're wondering what the Sunshine Award is.. this should explain:

This Sunshine Award is awarded to bloggers who inspire us and bring a ray of sunshine to your life. Here are a few simple rules:
1. Include Award Logo in or on your blog post
2. Link to the person who nominated you
3. Answer 10 questions about yourself
4. Nominate other bloggers to give this award

Now I will answer the questions Louise has asked!

1) Describe your blog with one word.

Mixture

2) What is your secret to clear skin?

Well I don't really have a secret as my skin is in no way shape or form clear, haha. But I think the thing that has helped control my skin a bit better is this gel I have prescribed from the doctors, it has a very long confusing name.

3) Which makeup item can you not live without?

Probably mascara, as I just feel it completes your whole look and sometimes even if I'm having a 'no makeup day' I'll just slick on some mascara and I'll feel more confident.

4) If you were stranded on a desert island, which 5 items would you miss and wish you had with you?

My phone, my tooth brush/toothpaste as hygiene is important! My iPod, cleansers, and my computer/laptop because without either I wouldn't be able to blog!

5) Which beauty-related thing must you do before you leave the house?
Put on my makeup or do my hair, either one.

6) Which hair products are a must for you?

The Lee Stafford leave in conditioner, it smells amazing and does wonders to your hair!

7) What are your blog goals for the future?

To have a wider audience I think as I'd like the idea of knowing that when I do a blog post a lot of people will be reading it, instead of just 1 or 2. And also just to be more experienced in blogging itself and writing about a lot more things, hopefully my ideas and blogging skills will grow in the future.

8) Which 3 things do you like to do to help you relax to sleep at night and which 3 things do you do in the morning to feel more awake?

Well for night I normally have a nice hot bath, listen to music and just chill watching tv or youtube videos.
And for morning I find that downing a glass of water wakes me up, as usually if you feel tired when you wake up its because you're dehydrated. I also find that smelling a nice scent wakes me up, it sounds weird but I love smelling the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation in the morning aha, I find it quite refreshing. Lastly, taking deep breaths helps I find.

9) Your favourite thing about blogging?

Just being able to express my feelings and thoughts through this, its kinda like my diary. Reading comments also makes me so happy, nothing feels better than when you put hard work into a blog and people actually take time out of their day to read it and comment. I'm very grateful for every comment I get!

10) Your best beauty tip?

Just do whatever you feel comfortable doing and don't be pressured to look a certain way just because everyone else surrounding you looks that way. Uniqueness = Beauty. Also I know this is such a cliche, but smiling really is more powerful than makeup! When you're smiling, you look happy and confident, and when you're happy, you're beautiful. I love this quote by Audrey Hepburn- " Happy girls are the prettiest". Even if you don't feel confident, smile and you never know who'll be intrigued by your smile.

I tag the following bloggers:

Here are my Ray of Sunshine questions!

1) What inspired you to make a blog?
2) Which makeup item can you not go a day without wearing?
3) If you could be any celebrity for a day who would you be?
4) What would be your dream job?
5) Is there anything you would change about your blog if you could?
6) Fake tan or pale?
7) Best memory from school?
8) What advice would you give to someone who's thinking of starting a blog?
9) If you could only travel to only one place for a holiday where would it be?
10) Least favourite food?

Thanks!

Whats in my school bag?

My School Bag

I got this inspiration from many Youtubers and thought, why not do one on my blog?
Here's basically whats in my school bag...

My school bag: This is from New Look and tbh I cant remember how much it was, haha. But it wasn't too pricey! This is great for school as its a convenient size and I just really like the style of it, it comes with a strap so you can wear it across your shoulder as well.

Lets take a look inside!

First I have my pen and pencil.. essential for school so this ones pretty obvious haha.
These are just standard and cheap, nothing special.

Next I have my umbrella which I ALWAYS carry with me as, living in sunny England, I need it quite frequently. I've had this for ages so I cant remember where I got it from but it doesn't really matter I guess.

I now have (probably the most exciting thing in this post) what is it? Its a Tesco carrier bag! Wooo! This is so exciting I know, I just always need one particularly for when my umbrella is wet so I can pop it into this afterwards so it doesn't get the inside of my bag wet. Fun.

Following with a packet of tissues!

My small makeup bag..

And inside that makeup bag I have..

My amazing balmi lip balm, this is the mint one.

My hand cream which I have reviewed in a previous post.

The natural collection body spray (that's nearly empty, eek!)

A standard hair band as you never know when you're going to need one!

Now moving onto outside of my makeup bag, I have a half eaten packet of polo mints.. nice

A calculator- Remember.. maths is cool kidz!

Lastly, a ruler.. with a lot of cracks in it. Its getting old.

And that is all that's in my school bag, pretty boring post but I hope you enjoyed it! Thanks for reading :) Comment/ Follow, all that jazz!

Autumn/Fall style!

Hello October!

We're a little bit of a way into October now, and I wanted to do this sooner but I didn't have time, so sorry that I'm a bit late!
Anyways, October is one of my favourite months! Everything gets darker, colder and cozier. In this post I'm going to show you a few Autumn styles you can wear/try this month!

Makeup: Deep red/purple lips have Autumn written all over! I really love this lip colour with hardly anything on the eyes as that would be too much. I understand not everyone will feel comfortable wearing this. Give it a try though!

Or if the top picture is too dark for you, why not dry a deeper red than you'd usually go for, this gives an Autumn feel to your look as well.

Nail polish: I think that dark teal is such a nice colour for Autumn!
It also goes with a lot of outfits. Or if you don't like this colour you could also try some nice browns, deep reds, purples or blacks.

Clothing: Now if this jumper doesn't scream Halloween I don't know what does, (pun intended) I love this jumper so much, I just think it looks so adorable! Its available from New Look for £22.99

I also really like this dress which is also from New Look, I love the colour and I think its a good casual dress which you could wear with tights and a nice pair of boots. You could even put a cardigan over it if its chilly. This is also £22.99.. weird coincidence.
For shoes I think a pair of brogues or ankle boots would be suitable and stylish.

Bags: I understand that this is not for everyone but how cute is this bird bag from Next?! This bag would be suitable for pretty much anything you like and its super autumn/wintery. This bag is £28.

However, if you're looking for something a bit more plain and mature, this monochrome bag also from next is the one for you! Its super sleek and I really like the mixture of neutral colours. This bag is a bit more expensive at £32.

As always thanks for reading! Comment what you thought of this post, reading your comments makes my day! Follow me on here/bloglovin/Twitter too please!

Have a great Autumn :)
